Yuriy Shchyrin has over 16 years of experience in marketing research and consulting.
In 2005, Yuriy founded the marketing company “Agency of Industrial Marketing” and since then has been its ideologist and managing director. In 2005, as a subcontractor, he headed the Department of Socio-Economic Monitoring in the Secretariat of the President of Ukraine, where he developed a system of operational informing the Head of State.
From 2000 to 2004, Yuriy was promoted from a marketer to a Marketing Director in a fast-growing industrial enterprise in the market of electrical engineering and telecommunications (CJSC “DKS”, www.dkc.ua).
Yuriy received a Master’s degree with honors in economics at I. Franco National University in Lviv (2000).
He also received a Diploma in Leadership at the Swedish Management Institute (2008, Sweden) (www.si.se).
Currently he is working on the dissertation “Marketing Research in the System of Corporate Management”.
Since 2009 Yuriy has been a co-organizer of the annual international forum “Industrial Marketing B2BFest” (Ukraine, Kyiv), which today is a major event for B2B market players in the CIS. He is a co-organizer and sponsor of business cases in marketing within the framework of the B2B Marketing Conference at the National Technical University in Kiev. In 2009, Yuriy was elected a member of the Board of Directors of the European-Ukrainian Energy Agency (EUEA at www.euea-energyagency.org).
He is the author of more than 20 publications in industry and marketing periodicals.
He is a Member of European Organization for Marketing and Sociological Research (ESOMAR) and Ukrainian Association of Marketing (UAM).
Yuriy has a house, has planted a garden and is bringing up 2 daughters.
Among his interests there are a Ukrainian bard song and ethno-jazz, Trypillya civilization, fishing and boxing.
